Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality chemistry lessons aligned with the National Curriculum Framework, ensuring clarity and depth in concepts like atomic structure, chemical reactions, and environmental chemistry.
2. Design and implement engaging experiments and demonstrations to reinforce theoretical knowledge, fostering a hands-on learning experience for students.
3. Assess students’ understanding through regular evaluations, including practical exams and project-based assessments, while providing constructive feedback.
4. Collaborate with the chemistry department to update teaching methods, integrate modern tools like digital labs, and promote interdisciplinary learning with other science subjects.
5. Prepare lesson plans that balance theoretical discussions with real-world applications, such as industrial processes or sustainable practices, to make chemistry relatable.
6. Maintain a well-stocked chemistry lab, ensuring safety protocols are followed strictly to protect students and staff during experiments.
7. Participate in school events like science fairs or workshops, representing Goya World School | Sambhal in chemistry-related activities to inspire students further.
8. Support students with additional guidance on advanced topics, such as organic chemistry or analytical techniques, to prepare them for higher education.
9. Attend departmental meetings to discuss curriculum improvements and share best practices with fellow chemistry teachers.
10. Ensure compliance with school policies on academic integrity, student conduct, and safety measures in the chemistry lab.
