Participate in departmental meetings to discuss curriculum updates and student performance trends. Ensure compliance with school policies regarding assessment and grading standards.
Periodic Responsibilities
Attend term-end evaluations to assess student performance and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Organize and conduct mathematics-based extracurricular activities, such as quizzes or competitions, to reinforce learning. Complete necessary paperwork, including attendance records and student progress reports, as required by the school.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree to qualify for the PRT position. Minimum two years of teaching experience in Mathematics at the secondary level is essential. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly beneficial for career growth.
