Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students, incorporating a range of teaching methods and materials.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Develop and implement curriculum-based projects that promote critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration among students.
- Provide individualized support to students who require additional assistance, identifying areas of strength and weakness to inform instruction.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that promote English language learning and literacy.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices in English language teaching.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessments.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in English or a related field, along with a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. certification. A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is also required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is preferred. You should be well-versed in English language teaching methodologies and be able to adapt to the needs of students from diverse backgrounds.
