Job Overview
L.s.p Public School is looking for a highly motivated and experienced PGT English Teacher to join our teaching staff. As a PGT English Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching English to students from classes 6 to 12, and also assist in preparing and administering internal assessments and exams.
How You Will Teach
You will use a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, group work, and project-based learning to engage students in the learning process. You will also use digital tools and multimedia resources to enhance student understanding and participation. Our school has a well-equipped English language laboratory where you can conduct language drills and practice sessions for students.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and deliver lesson plans for English classes, incorporating a range of teaching methods and resources.
2. Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
3. Develop and implement English language skills through various activities and projects.
4. Coordinate with other teachers to ensure smooth running of the English department.
5. Participate in school events, such as literary festivals, debates, and elocution competitions.
6. Prepare and administer internal assessments and exams.
7. Maintain accurate records of student grades and progress.
8. Collaborate with the school administration to implement English language policies.
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this position, you should have a postgraduate degree in English (M.A., M.Com., or relevant fields) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or Diplom in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) degree. Experience in teaching English at a school level is necessary, and a certificate in TET/CTET would be preferred.
