Scope of the role
The teacher designs and delivers curriculum‑aligned lessons for classes 9 to 12, ensuring conceptual clarity and application of mathematical principles. Responsibilities include coordinating with co‑ordinators, participating in departmental meetings, and contributing to school‑wide initiatives that promote analytical thinking.
Core academic duties
Prepare lesson plans that integrate visual aids, real‑world examples, and technology to enhance understanding of algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics. Deliver engaging instruction, facilitate group work, and provide individual guidance to students. Maintain a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and disciplined practice.
Assessment and planning duties
Plan periodic formative assessments, quizzes, and mock tests to gauge student progress. Analyze results to identify learning gaps and adjust instructional strategies accordingly. Prepare final examination papers in collaboration with senior faculty, ensuring alignment with state board standards.
Qualification and experience
Post‑graduate degree in Mathematics or related field required. Minimum two years of teaching experience at the PGT level. B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory; TET/CTET preferred. Proven ability to use curriculum resources and educational technology effectively.
Salary and location
Full‑time position based in Powayan, Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Salary ranges from Rs.30,000 to Rs.45,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
