Job Overview
We are seeking an accomplished PGT Physics Teacher to join our faculty at Unity Convent School. As a Physics teacher, you will be responsible for teaching and guiding students in grades 9-12, developing engaging lesson plans, and assessing student progress. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of three years of experience in teaching Physics at the senior secondary level.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Physics to students in grades 9-12, using a variety of teaching methods and technologies
- Develop and implement lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations to meet curriculum standards
- Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to students
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects
- Supervise students during laboratory sessions and ensure their safety
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and staff development programs
- Stay updated with curriculum developments and pedagogical best practices in Physics teaching
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physics with B.Ed/D.El.Ed
- CTET/TET preferred but not mandatory
- Minimum three years of experience in teaching Physics at the senior secondary level
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing curriculum requirements and technology integration
