The Renaissance Academy in Tilhar, Shahjahanpur, invites applications for a PRT Dance Teacher position to inspire young minds through rhythmic arts. This role focuses on nurturing creativity and discipline in students, blending traditional and contemporary dance forms.
Responsibilities
Teach dance classes to students from Class I to VIII, ensuring age-appropriate curriculum adherence. Develop and implement lesson plans that incorporate cultural heritage and modern dance techniques. Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain a safe and encouraging learning environment. Organize extracurricular dance events, workshops, and performances to enhance students' performance skills. Collaborate with the principal and staff to integrate dance activities into school programs and festivals.
Qualification
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Dance or related field. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree for formal teaching certification. TET/CTET certification is highly preferred but not mandatory for this role. Experience in teaching dance to school-age children is a plus.
Experience
Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in schools or dance academies. Familiarity with curriculum-based dance education is beneficial. Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse student abilities.
