Role Overview
A full‑time PRT Social Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in history, geography, economics and civics to students in the school. The position requires a graduate with a minimum of two years of teaching experience and a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. The teacher will work in the Sadar campus of Rosy Public School, Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans that align with the state curriculum and promote critical thinking.
- Assess student performance through tests, projects and class participation, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain an organized classroom environment, manage student behavior, and support the school’s academic goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary activities and participate in school meetings.
- Use technology and visual aids to enhance learning experiences and keep records of student progress.
Eligibility and Experience
- Graduate degree in any discipline.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification required; TET/CTET is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of two years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for social science education.
Compensation and Location
- Monthly salary range: Rs.15,000 – Rs.28,000.
