Role Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the special education department, ensuring that our students with special needs receive the best care and support.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Develop and implement special education programs that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
2. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
3. Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress.
4. Provide training and guidance to teachers on inclusive education practices.
5. Coordinate with external agencies and organizations to access resources and support.
6. Manage and maintain records of student progress, IEPs, and special education plans.
7. Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and other related activities.
8. Assist the administration in developing policies and procedures related to special education.
Eligibility Criteria
The ideal candidate should possess a postgraduate degree (B.Ed/D.El.Ed) and have at least 3 years of experience working in special education. TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. The candidate should be proficient in computer applications and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
