About This Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced PGT Business Studies Teacher to join Socratic School Of India in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Business Studies to students from classes 9 to 12.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Business Studies to students from classes 9 to 12
- Prepare and administer assessments and exams to evaluate student progress
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance
- Develop and implement curricula to meet the needs of students
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver whole-school initiatives
- Provide feedback and guidance to students on their academic progress
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress and performance
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school development plans
Required Qualifications
Must Have
- B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) or D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) degree
- TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) or CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) certification
Good to Have
- M.Com (Master of Commerce) or MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree
- Experience in teaching Business Studies to students from classes 9 to 12
