This role demands expertise in visual arts, craft, and design, ensuring alignment with the school’s international curriculum while fostering students’ artistic expression and critical thinking.
The PGT Fine Arts Teacher in Shamli will design and implement dynamic lesson plans covering painting, sculpture, textiles, and digital media. Collaborate with the art department to integrate projects that reflect contemporary artistic movements while respecting cultural diversity. Supervise students’ practical work, including studio sessions and exhibitions, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and originality.
Assessment will include portfolio evaluations, project-based grading, and participation in school-wide art competitions. Develop resources like workshops and guest artist programs to enrich the curriculum. Maintain a portfolio of student work and your own teaching methodologies for review.
For this PGT Fine Arts Teacher position, a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. Two years of relevant teaching experience in Fine Arts is required, preferably in a school setting. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly beneficial for career progression.
