PRT Computer Science Teacher Position at Rock Gold Academy, Shamli
This role is for a Primary Teacher (PRT) to teach Computer Science at Rock Gold Academy in Shamli. You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering age-appropriate lessons in programming basics, digital literacy, and foundational computer concepts for students in grades 6 to 8. The position focuses on making technology accessible and engaging while aligning with curriculum standards.
You’ll plan daily lessons, conduct interactive workshops, and assess student understanding through practical projects and quizzes. Hands-on coding exercises, coding clubs, and real-world applications of technology will be part of your daily work. Collaboration with other teachers to integrate Computer Science into broader learning is also expected.
To qualify, you must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). A TET or CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
For this position, two years of teaching experience, preferably in Computer Science or a related subject, is required. Experience with curriculum development, student engagement strategies, and hands-on coding instruction will be highly valued.
The salary for this full-time position is Rs.14,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, depending on qualifications and performance. The role is based in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh, and involves teaching in a school environment with a focus on preparing students for the digital age.
