Day-to-Day Duties
As a PRT English Teacher at Socratic School Of India, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Preparing and delivering English lessons to students from classes 6 to 12
- Assessing student progress and providing feedback to students and parents
- Developing and implementing English language learning materials and resources
- Participating in school events and activities related to English language and literature
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Collaborating with other teachers to develop and implement curriculum plans
- Participating in professional development opportunities to improve English language teaching skills
- Assisting with English language proficiency tests and assessments
- Maintaining a well-organized and inclusive classroom environment
- Encouraging student participation and engagement in English language classes
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in English or a related field, along with a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree. A Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) or a similar certification is preferred. Experience teaching English to students from classes 6 to 12 is essential.
