Designing and implementing hands-on experiments, lab activities, and field studies to deepen students’ understanding of biological concepts. Collaborating with the science department to integrate interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
Assessing student progress through continuous evaluation, including practical exams, projects, and classroom observations. Providing constructive feedback to help students excel academically and develop scientific inquiry skills.
Engaging with parents and guardians through regular communication to support their children’s biology education. Participating in school events, workshops, and professional development sessions to stay updated on best practices in biology teaching.
Supporting the school’s commitment to environmental sustainability by incorporating eco-friendly practices in biology lessons.
Qualification and Experience
A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is essential for this position, with a postgraduate degree in Biology as the preferred qualification. At least two years of experience in Biology Teaching is required, preferably in a school setting. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly beneficial for this role.
The successful candidate will be based in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh, and will receive a competitive salary of Rs. 24,000 to Rs. 45,000 per month. The role offers a dynamic environment where biology educators play a vital role in shaping students’ scientific aspirations.
