Role Introduction
Scottish International School invites applications for a TGT Hindi Teacher in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh. The position involves delivering Hindi curriculum to secondary students and fostering a love for the language in a multicultural school environment.
Daily Responsibilities
- Conduct interactive Hindi lessons for classes IX and X, using textbooks and multimedia resources.
- Assess student understanding through quizzes, oral presentations, and class participation.
- Maintain attendance records and update daily lesson plans on the school’s portal.
- Provide immediate feedback and support to students who need extra help with language skills.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
- Prepare unit tests, project work and model answer keys on a weekly to monthly basis.
- Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with English and Social Science teachers for interdisciplinary activities.
- Organize Hindi language clubs, debate sessions and cultural programs to enhance speaking and writing proficiency.
- Contribute to the preparation of termly progress reports and parent‑teacher meetings.
Periodic Responsibilities
- Lead the school’s Hindi celebration events during national festivals such as Hindi Diwas and Republic Day.
- Assist in the evaluation of term examinations and setting question papers in accordance with state board guidelines.
- Attend professional development workshops and school inspections as required.
Qualification and Experience
- Graduate degree with B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Hindi at the secondary level.
- TET/CTET qualification preferred.
- Strong command of Hindi language, literature and pedagogy.
Salary and Location
- Salary: Rs.15,000 - Rs.25,000 per month.
