PGT Accountancy Teacher
Responsibilities
Teach Accountancy to classes IX and X, preparing lesson plans that align with the curriculum and assessment standards.
Prepare and evaluate examinations, assignments, and projects, ensuring timely feedback to students.
Maintain accurate attendance records and student progress reports, submitting them to the department head regularly.
Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum development sessions, and professional development workshops.
Mentor junior teachers and interns, offering guidance on instructional strategies and classroom management.
Assist in organizing school events, financial literacy workshops, and community outreach programs related to accounting education.
Qualifications and Experience
Post‑graduate degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred.
Strong command of accounting concepts, financial reporting, and statutory regulations.
Proficiency in using educational technology and accounting software for classroom instruction.
Salary, Location, and Application
Salary: Rs.32,000 – Rs.50,000 per month.
