Daily Responsibilities

Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle

Collaborate with other science teachers to design cross-subject projects, such as environmental studies or health awareness campaigns, to enhance interdisciplinary learning. Participate in school-wide academic meetings to discuss biology curriculum improvements and share innovative teaching strategies. Attend regular faculty meetings to stay updated on school policies and educational trends in biology education.

Periodic Responsibilities
Conduct parent-teacher interactions to discuss student performance in biology, offering constructive feedback and strategies for home support. Organize biology-related workshops or guest lectures by experts to enrich students’ understanding of advanced biological concepts. Prepare annual report cards and maintain detailed records of student achievements, attendance, and participation in biology-related activities.

Qualification and Experience
A postgraduate degree in Biology or a related field is essential for this PGT Biology Teacher position. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for teaching roles at Delhi Public School | Sitapur. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role. Three years of experience in teaching biology at the secondary or senior secondary level is required, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in a school environment similar to Delhi Public School | Sitapur.

Salary and Location
The selected candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.35,000 to Rs.60,000 per month, along with other benefits as per the school’s policy.
