Job Description
Responsibilities for PGT Zoology Teacher at Gd Goenka School, Sitapur
Teach Zoology to high school students, covering topics like animal classification, physiology, ecology, and conservation biology. Prepare and deliver engaging lectures, practical demonstrations, and field studies aligned with the Uttar Pradesh Board curriculum.
Design and conduct experiments, dissections, and lab activities to reinforce theoretical concepts with hands-on learning. Maintain detailed records of student performance, attendance, and participation in Zoology-related assessments.
Collaborate with the science faculty to integrate Zoology with other subjects, ensuring interdisciplinary learning opportunities. Act as a subject expert to guide students in research projects, science fairs, and competitive exams like JEE and NEET.
Develop and update lesson plans, syllabi, and teaching resources to meet evolving academic standards and student needs.
Eligibility and Qualifications
Hold a postgraduate degree in Zoology or a related field from a recognized university. Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) for school-level teaching.
Experience in teaching Zoology to high school students for at least two years is mandatory. Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and educational technology is beneficial.
