PRT Dance Teacher Job in R.a.v Central Academy, Sitapur
R.a.v Central Academy invites a dedicated PRT Dance Teacher to join its vibrant school community in Sitapur. This full-time role focuses on inspiring students through creative movement, ensuring their growth in rhythm, expression, and cultural appreciation. With a monthly salary ranging from Rs.13,000 to Rs.22,000, this position offers a chance to shape young minds while fostering artistic development.
Qualifications and Experience
To qualify, you must hold a graduate degree along with a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Education (B.Ed or D.El.Ed). While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an added advantage. Two years of teaching or dance-related experience will be highly beneficial, especially in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities in Dance Teaching
Designing engaging lesson plans is central to this role. Your curriculum must align with academic standards while keeping students excited about dance. Each session should blend theory with practical exercises, ensuring students grasp fundamental techniques and artistic principles.
Curriculum alignment means tailoring dance lessons to fit the school’s broader educational goals. Whether it’s introducing classical forms, contemporary styles, or cultural dances, your lessons should complement other subjects without overwhelming students. Balance is key—mix structured learning with creative freedom to keep motivation high.
Assessment design is crucial to measure student progress. Create simple yet effective methods to evaluate skills—judging posture, rhythm, and performance confidence. Regular feedback sessions can help students improve while reinforcing their confidence in the art form.
Tracking student progress involves observing improvements over time. Note strengths and areas needing attention, adjusting lessons as needed. This data helps refine teaching methods and ensures every student receives personalized attention.
Teaching Environment and Student Engagement
R.a.v Central Academy values a supportive and inclusive environment. Your role will include teaching a mix of students, from beginners to those with some prior dance experience. Encourage participation without pressure, fostering a positive atmosphere where every child feels welcome.
Lessons should be interactive, with opportunities for group activities, solo practice, and performance-based assessments. Small group sessions can help individualize instruction, while larger classes allow for collaborative learning. Keeping lessons dynamic ensures students stay engaged and motivated.
Collaboration with other teachers is essential. Share insights on student progress and align dance lessons with other subjects where possible. A well-rounded approach ensures students develop both artistic and academic strengths.
This role at R.a.v Central Academy offers a chance to make a lasting impact on young dancers. With a structured yet creative approach, you’ll help students discover the joy of movement while meeting educational benchmarks.
