As a PRT English Teacher, you will be instrumental in helping them develop their language skills, fostering a love for reading and writing, and exploring the rich cultural heritage of Uttar Pradesh.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students from class 1 to 8.
- Develop and implement creative curriculum activities, incorporating local themes and contexts.
- Engage with parents through regular parent-teacher meetings and progress updates.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide English language programs.
- Participate in school events, such as literary festivals and competitions.
- Develop and maintain a well-stocked English language library.
- Conduct remedial classes for struggling students.
- Participate in professional development programs to enhance teaching skills.
- Contribute to the development of English language policies and procedures.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in English or any related field, with a valid B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification. A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in an English medium school is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong background in English language teaching and learning, and those with experience working in rural or semi-urban areas.
