Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Sidhauli is seeking a dedicated PRT Evs Teacher to join their team and inspire young minds with engaging Environmental Studies lessons. This role focuses on teaching fundamental ecological concepts, sustainability practices, and hands-on projects that align with school curricula. Role Responsibilities
Teaching Environmental Studies to students from Class I to V, ensuring age-appropriate and interactive lessons. Designing and implementing practical experiments, field trips, and nature-based activities to reinforce classroom learning. Collaborating with teachers to integrate environmental themes into other subjects like science and social studies. Preparing engaging lesson plans that incorporate local ecological issues, such as water conservation or waste management, to make concepts relatable. Maintaining a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, teamwork, and environmental stewardship. Organizing school-wide events like tree-planting drives, cleanliness campaigns, or eco-clubs to promote sustainability. Assessing students’ understanding through practical assessments, projects, and discussions rather than just exams. Ensuring compliance with school policies on environmental education and sustainability initiatives. Participating in parent-teacher interactions to discuss students’ progress in environmental awareness.
Eligibility
A graduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for this PRT position. Candidates with a background in Environmental Science or related fields are preferred. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in schools, will be an added advantage. While TET/CTET certificates are not mandatory, they will be considered favorably if possessed. The role requires strong communication skills, creativity in lesson planning, and a commitment to fostering environmental consciousness among students.
