Gd Goenka School in Sitapur seeks a dedicated TGT Physical Education Teacher to lead dynamic sports programs and foster a healthy, active learning environment for students. This role involves designing and implementing engaging PE curriculum, coaching various sports, and ensuring students develop physical fitness, teamwork, and discipline. You will also organize extracurricular activities, monitor sports equipment, and collaborate with school management to align PE initiatives with academic goals.
Daily responsibilities include teaching core PE subjects, conducting drills and competitions, and assessing student performance through practical evaluations. You’ll supervise sports teams, maintain school sports facilities, and promote inclusivity by adapting activities for students with diverse abilities. Additionally, you’ll attend parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress in physical activities and keep records of attendance, participation, and achievements.
To qualify, hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Physical Education or related field. A TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory. At least two years of teaching experience, preferably in Physical Education, is essential. Strong leadership, adaptability, and a passion for youth development are key.
