Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Coordinate with the Social Science department to align teaching strategies with the latest syllabus updates. Assist in organizing school events like cultural fairs, debates, and guest lectures on social sciences to enhance student engagement. Collaborate with other teachers to design cross-subject projects that integrate history, geography, and economics themes. Participate in weekly faculty meetings to discuss teaching methodologies and student progress.
Periodic Responsibilities
Develop and review unit assessments, quizzes, and projects to evaluate student performance accurately. Attend term-end examinations and provide feedback to students and parents on their academic growth. Represent the school at local educational forums or workshops related to social sciences teaching practices.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Social Science or a related discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum two years of teaching experience in Social Science at the secondary level is required. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role.
Salary and Location
