Teaching Responsibilities

Planning and Curriculum Development
Design and update music curriculum modules based on school standards and student needs. Collaborate with the academic team to integrate music across other subjects where appropriate. Ensure lessons align with the school’s long-term educational goals.
Student Engagement and Support
Encourage participation in school music programs, including concerts, festivals, and extracurricular activities. Provide individual feedback to students on their musical progress and performance skills. Act as a mentor to nurture talent and confidence in young musicians.
Coordination and Collaboration
Work closely with the principal and other teachers to maintain consistency in music education standards. Represent the school at regional music events, workshops, or competitions if required. Ensure smooth operation of school music infrastructure, including instruments and recording equipment.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Music or a related field. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification with at least two years of teaching experience in music. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, prior experience in teaching at the secondary level is preferred. Salary for this role is Rs.25,000 to Rs.50,000 per month, based on qualifications and performance.
