Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement fitness programs, including gymnastic drills, swimming, and outdoor sports like cricket, football, and athletics. Collaborate with school management to assess student participation and improve athletic performance metrics. Mentor students in sports leadership roles, such as captains or team coordinators. Maintain equipment inventory and ensure proper upkeep of sports facilities. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needs, including students with physical disabilities if applicable.
Qualifications
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a specialization in Physical Education. Possess a strong foundation in sports science, anatomy, and physiology to guide students effectively. Ensure eligibility for TET/CTET certification to qualify for government school teaching roles, though the school may not enforce this strictly. Experience in teaching PE at the high school level is highly valued.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Physical Education, preferably in a school environment. Familiarity with curriculum-based sports programs and assessment tools is beneficial. Knowledge of national sports policies and participation in state-level competitions adds practical relevance. Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, parents, and administrative staff is essential.
Salary and Terms
