What You Will Do
As a PRT Music Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Music to students from Classes Pre-Nursery to Class XII, preparing them for board exams and co-curricular activities. You will lead the curriculum for Music, developing and implementing lesson plans, and guiding students for board exams. Additionally, you will coach students in Music competitions, organizing concerts and performances, and maintaining the Music room. You will also participate in school events, such as annual days and festivals, and collaborate with other teachers to plan co-curricular activities. You will be responsible for maintaining discipline in the Music room and ensuring students adhere to school rules. You will also update your knowledge and skills by attending workshops and conferences, and sharing your expertise with colleagues. Your primary responsibility will be to provide quality education to students, and make learning Music a delightful experience for them.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you must have a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching Music. Having TET or CTET certification will be an added advantage. You should be well-versed in Music, with a passion for teaching and a commitment to student development.
Your Growth Path
As a PRT Music Teacher, you will be considered for the post of Head of Department (HOD) Music after 5 years of experience. You will receive annual increments based on your performance, and will be encouraged to pursue professional development opportunities in Uttar Pradesh. You will have the opportunity to attend workshops, conferences, and training programs, and will be supported in your growth path within the school.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is Rs.20,000 - Rs.40,000 per month, depending on your experience and qualifications. You will also receive benefits, such as medical insurance, leave travel allowance, and other perks, as per school norms.
