Navyug International Public School | Sultanpur is looking for a dedicated PRT Mathematics Teacher for its Kadipur campus. The role involves delivering engaging mathematics lessons to classes in the primary and secondary sections, ensuring students grasp core concepts and develop problem‑solving skills. The teacher will work closely with senior staff to maintain a supportive learning environment and uphold the school’s academic standards.
Responsibilities
Plan and conduct daily mathematics lessons for classes 6 to 10, using a mix of traditional teaching methods and interactive discussions.
Facilitate classroom activities that encourage student participation and collaborative learning, helping learners apply mathematical ideas to real‑world situations.
Prepare and administer periodic assessments, quizzes and tests, and provide constructive feedback to students on their progress.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, marks and classroom observations, and update parents on their child’s performance during routine meetings.
Collaborate with teachers of other subjects to integrate cross‑disciplinary projects that involve mathematical reasoning.
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops and school events to contribute to the overall educational experience.
Qualifications
Graduate degree in any discipline.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is required; TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum three years of teaching experience in a school setting, with a proven ability to create a positive learning environment.
Strong command of mathematics curriculum and the ability to explain concepts clearly to students of varying abilities.
Excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in student growth and academic success.
Salary
Competitive salary ranging from Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
