PGT Economics Teacher Position at Sunbeam School Lahartara, Varanasi
Sunbeam School Lahartara in Varanasi seeks a dedicated PGT Economics Teacher to lead economics classes for senior students. This role involves designing engaging lesson plans that blend theoretical concepts with real-world applications, ensuring students grasp macro and microeconomic principles effectively. Your expertise will shape how students analyze economic policies, understand market dynamics, and develop critical thinking skills.
Assessment is a key part of this role. You will design and implement exams, projects, and quizzes to evaluate students’ understanding of key concepts. Grading should be fair, transparent, and aligned with school policies while encouraging continuous improvement. Past experience in creating rubrics or standardized tests will be beneficial.
This position offers a competitive salary of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month, along with the opportunity to contribute to Sunbeam School Lahartara’s academic growth. A postgraduate degree in Economics with at least four years of teaching experience is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an asset.
