PRINCIPAL Job in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh | School Vacancy
Role Summary
The PRINCIPAL is the academic and administrative head of Jai Public School Varanasi, responsible for setting the vision, maintaining standards, and ensuring smooth operations. This role shapes the school’s culture, oversees staff performance, and fosters a positive learning environment for students and educators alike. Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of academic policies aligned with CBSE standards and local educational needs. Oversee curriculum planning, assessment frameworks, and continuous quality improvement initiatives at Jai Public School Varanasi. Manage the recruitment, appraisal, and professional development of teaching and administrative staff.
Coordinate with parents, local authorities, and education boards to resolve concerns and promote school initiatives. Ensure compliance with government regulations, safety protocols, and child protection policies at all times. Represent the school at district-level meetings and representational forums.
Monitor infrastructure maintenance, resource allocation, and budget adherence for optimal school functioning. Introduce modern administrative systems to streamline operations and enhance transparency in reporting.
Who Can Apply
Must Have: Postgraduate degree in Education or related field, B.Ed degree, minimum 3 years of school leadership experience as a Vice Principal or Headmistress/Headmaster. Familiarity with CBSE norms and Uttar Pradesh education department guidelines.
Good to Have: Prior experience in a reputed school in Varanasi, exposure to digital school management systems, and involvement in extracurricular program development.
