PRT Art And Craft Teacher Job in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment
Hari Bandhu International School in Varanasi invites applications for a dedicated PRT Art And Craft Teacher to inspire creativity and hands-on learning in its young students. This role focuses on nurturing artistic skills through engaging, experiential teaching methods, blending traditional and modern craft techniques. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for visual arts while adapting lessons to align with school curricula and student interests.
Daily Responsibilities
Plan and conduct daily Art And Craft classes, ensuring activities are age-appropriate and interactive. Prepare simple yet effective materials like paper, clay, paints, and recycled items for hands-on projects. Observe students’ progress during lessons to identify strengths and areas needing support. Collaborate with the classroom teacher to integrate art into daily routines, such as decorating classrooms or participating in school events.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and update lesson plans that incorporate seasonal themes, festivals, and cultural events relevant to Uttar Pradesh. Organize weekly craft workshops or competitions to encourage teamwork and creativity among students. Maintain a well-stocked art room with supplies, ensuring everything is organized and accessible for teachers and students. Attend weekly staff meetings to discuss teaching strategies and share innovative art activities.
Periodic Responsibilities
Participate in term-end exhibitions or showcases where students display their artwork, fostering confidence and pride. Collaborate with other subject teachers to design interdisciplinary projects, such as combining art with history or science themes. Conduct periodic parent-teacher interactions to share student progress in art and discuss how parents can support creativity at home.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a passion for teaching Art And Craft. Minimum three years of experience in classroom teaching, preferably in a school environment. Familiarity with TET/CTET guidelines is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills in Hindi and English are essential to engage students and parents effectively.
