Teach fundamental music theory, singing, and instrumental skills to students from Class I to VIII. Ensure proper use of school instruments and maintain a well-stocked music library. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate music into interdisciplinary learning activities. Supervise extracurricular music clubs and ensure students participate actively in school festivals and competitions.
Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education with either a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Strong foundation in music theory, singing, and instrumental performance is essential. Familiarity with school music syllabi and teaching methods preferred.
Experience
Minimum two years of teaching experience in a school environment, preferably in music or arts subjects. Experience working with diverse student backgrounds is highly valued. Knowledge of local music traditions and cultural practices beneficial.
Salary and Employment
