Role Responsibilities
The successful candidate will design and deliver lesson plans aligned with the state curriculum, ensuring that students grasp concepts of history, geography, political science, and economics. Classroom management will be a priority, with an emphasis on creating an inclusive environment that encourages participation and debate. Assessment strategies will include formative quizzes, projects, and presentations, with timely feedback to support student growth. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary projects and participate in school events, such as annual cultural fests and community outreach programs. Maintaining accurate attendance records, updating lesson plans in the digital repository, and attending faculty meetings are also key duties. The role requires a proactive approach to curriculum enhancement, leveraging local historical sites and current events to make learning relevant and engaging for students in Varanasi.
Eligibility
Applicants must hold a graduate degree and a B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification. Experience of at least 3 years teaching Social Science at the secondary level is essential. TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, a passion for student development, and the ability to work collaboratively within a school community.
Salary and Employment
The position offers a competitive salary range of Rs.16,000 – Rs.30,000 per month, with a full‑time commitment at Hari Bandhu International School.
