Job Description
TGT English Teacher Job in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment
Varanasi’s children need strong English teachers who can open doors beyond textbooks. Many students here come from homes where Hindi dominates, so confident English skills can change their futures. Bns English School believes every learner deserves a teacher who makes language feel alive and useful.
The right teacher will be more than a classroom instructor. You will become a mentor to students who see you as a guide toward better opportunities. Parents in the locality look to Bns English School for teachers who don’t just teach grammar but help children speak with clarity and pride. Your presence will shape how young minds approach exams, interviews, and life beyond school.
Daily responsibilities include planning engaging English lessons for middle school classes. You will assess writing skills through regular assignments and tests. Organising school events like debates and elocution contests will give students a chance to practise English outside books. Connecting with parents during PTMs ensures they understand their child’s progress. Preparing students for board exams while keeping their interest alive is key. You will also recommend age-appropriate books to build reading habits. Supporting colleagues in English department planning keeps the curriculum strong.
Applicants should hold a postgraduate degree in English with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed. While TET or CTET is not mandatory, experience in teaching English to classes 6 to 8 is essential. Five years of classroom practice in a similar school environment will prepare you for the challenges here.
This English Teacher Vacancy in Varanasi is not just about lessons. It is about giving local youth confidence in a language that can take them further. Bns English School wants a teacher who cares deeply about each student’s growth, not just marks. Your efforts will be seen in how students present themselves in public, write applications, and face the world.
Salary is Rs.20,000 to Rs.35,000 per month, based on qualifications and experience. Regular professional development support is provided. The school also offers a positive work culture where teachers’ suggestions matter.
