Job Description
TGT Physics Teacher Job in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment
Teaching Physics in Varanasi means watching students connect the dots between the Ganga’s flow and the laws of motion—it’s about making the invisible visible. The city’s curiosity is infectious, and Green Valley English School channels that energy into classrooms where theory meets wonder.
Green Valley English School stands out for blending traditional values with modern teaching. The Physics lab hums with activity, and students often linger after class to tinker with experiments. Discipline is firm but warm, and academic rigor is matched by a culture that celebrates curiosity.
A typical week starts with lesson planning for Classes 6 to 10. Demonstrations using everyday objects—like a cycle wheel to explain angular momentum—are a staple. Labs run on Tuesdays and Thursdays, where students verify concepts like Ohm’s law or the refraction of light. Weekly tests keep progress transparent, and remedial sessions help those who need extra time. Department meetings every Friday refine teaching strategies. Parents’ evenings are held monthly to discuss student growth. The school organizes an annual Science Exhibition where Physics projects take center stage. Evenings often include marking papers or preparing interactive quizzes.
Who thrives here? Someone with a postgraduate degree in Physics, a B.Ed, and at least three years of classroom experience. TET or CTET adds an edge, but passion matters more than paperwork. A patient, encouraging nature helps students who hesitate to ask questions. Humor and relatable examples—like using cricket to explain projectile motion—make lessons memorable.
The rewards include Rs.28,000 to Rs.35,000 per month, with increments for performance. House rent allowance and medical reimbursements are standard. The school supports professional development through workshops and resource sharing.
Interested candidates can share their resume and cover letter at careers@greenvalley.edu.in. Walk-ins are welcome at the school office during school hours. Green Valley English School looks forward to teachers who light up minds as brightly as the Physics lab’s bulbs.

About School
Green Valley English School has been a part of the Lamhi neighbourhood since 2011, when Dr Rakesh Singh and Mrs Kiran Singh gathered a small group of teachers who wanted a place where learning could feel as natural as the shade of a banyan tree. The school sits on Khushal Nagar Road, Bada Lalpur, and the banyan on our crest is more than a symbol; it reminds us of the deep roots we have put down in Varanasi and the way we...
