Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Data Mining and related areas, including algorithm design, data preprocessing, and visualization.
- Develop and deliver curriculum for Data Mining courses at the master level, ensuring alignment with industry needs.
- Guide students in research projects and help them publish papers in peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in departmental and institutional committees to promote academic excellence.
- Collaborate with industry experts to develop industry-relevant projects and research initiatives.
- Conduct workshops and seminars on Data Mining and related topics for students and faculty.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Data Mining and related areas.
Master Level Teaching
- Teach master level courses in Data Mining, including supervised and unsupervised learning, data clustering, and text mining.
- Guide students in their master level projects, ensuring they meet academic and industry standards.
- Help students publish their research papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop interdisciplinary research projects.
Required Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 55% marks is mandatory. If the Ph.D. is not completed, NET/SLET is required. The candidate should have a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. Experience in teaching and industry is desirable.
Your Growth Path
To progress in the career, the candidate is expected to achieve an API score of at least 3.0 on a scale of 5. The institution follows the UGC regulations for promotion and career advancement.
What You Get
The selected candidate will receive a salary of Rs.40,000 - Rs.55,000 per month, along with allowances as per UGC norms. The candidate will also be entitled to other benefits as per state government rules and University regulations.
