The selected candidate will be expected to contribute to the department's research reputation by publishing high-quality papers in top-tier journals and conferences.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Internet Of Things and related areas.
- Conduct research in Internet Of Things and related areas, and publish papers in top-tier journals and conferences.
- Supervise Ph.D. students and guide them in their research.
- Develop and maintain laboratory resources and equipment for Internet Of Things research.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement new courses and programs.
- Participate in departmental and university-level administrative tasks.
Who Can Apply
A Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering or a related field is mandatory for this position. A postdoctoral research experience is preferred. The candidate should have a strong publication record in top-tier journals and conferences. UGC-NET with JRF is desirable.
Academic Projects
The selected candidate will be expected to develop and implement collaborative academic projects in Internet Of Things with other faculty members and students. Opportunities for funding are available through various government and private organizations. The candidate is expected to publish papers in top-tier journals and conferences based on the research conducted.
Research Leadership
The selected candidate will be expected to guide doctoral students in their research and evaluate their theses. The candidate will also be expected to participate in the evaluation of theses of other Ph.D. students in the department.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will be offered a salary of Rs.40,000 - Rs.55,000 per month, as per UGC norms. The candidate will also be eligible for research grants and other benefits as per the university's policies.
