About This Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
What You Will Do
- Teach undergraduate courses in Mathematics, including Calculus, Differential Equations, and Linear Algebra.
- Conduct lectures and practical sessions for postgraduate students in areas such as Numerical Methods, Optimization Techniques, and Mathematical Modeling.
- Develop and deliver curriculum for new courses in Engineering Mathematics.
- Engage in research and publication in peer-reviewed journals.
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
- Participate in academic and administrative activities within the university.
- Collaborate with faculty members to develop new programs and courses.
Postgraduate Students
- Guide master's level students in their research projects, providing mentorship and guidance throughout their dissertation process.
- Supervise and evaluate research work of postgraduate students.
- Assist in curriculum planning and development for postgraduate programs.
Eligibility Criteria
- Ph.D. in Engineering Mathematics or a related field from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks.
- NET/SLET qualification for ASSISTANT PROFESSOR position, if Ph.D. not completed.
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences in the area of Engineering Mathematics.
- Strong teaching and research experience in Engineering Mathematics.
Learning and Development
- The candidate should be familiar with UGC norms and state government rules for academic promotion and career advancement.
- The university follows the API score requirements for promotion to Associate Professor and Professor.
