What You Will Do
As an ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in Industrial Mathematics, you will be responsible for:
- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Industrial Mathematics, including Mathematical Modeling, Numerical Analysis, and Optimization Techniques.
- Conducting research in Industrial Mathematics, publishing papers in leading international journals, and presenting research papers in conferences.
- Supervising Ph.D. students in Industrial Mathematics and guiding them in their research work.
- Collaborating with faculty members from other Departments in interdisciplinary research projects.
- Developing and implementing new courses in Industrial Mathematics, as per the needs of the industry and academia.
- Participating in academic and administrative activities of the Department and the University.
- Providing guidance to undergraduate and postgraduate students in their projects and research work.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the position of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in Industrial Mathematics, you must have:
- A Ph.D. in Industrial Mathematics or a related area, with a strong academic record.
- A post-doctoral experience in a prestigious institution is preferred.
- UGC-NET with JRF is mandatory for candidates without a Ph.D.
- Experience in teaching and research in Industrial Mathematics, with a strong publication record.
