Day-to-Day Duties
As an ASSISTANT PROFESSOR of Horticulture at Tulas Institute, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in horticulture courses
- Advising students on academic and research projects
- Designing and developing curriculum for horticulture programs
- Conducting research in horticulture and publishing papers in reputable journals
- Collaborating with faculty members from other departments on interdisciplinary research projects
- Participating in academic administration, including departmental meetings and committee work
- Mentorship and guidance of students for projects and research
- Participating in university-wide initiatives and events
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must have a Ph.D. from a recognized university. Industry experience in horticulture or a related field is highly desirable. You should also have a strong academic record, excellent teaching and communication skills, and a passion for mentoring and guiding students.
