Role Summary
Tulas Institute, a premier university in Dehradun, invites applications for the position of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in Entomology. The successful candidate will join our faculty team to teach undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in Entomology, including theory and practical classes.
- Conduct tutorials, demonstrations, and experiments in the laboratory.
- Prepare and deliver lectures, and conduct assessments.
- Develop and implement curriculum for Entomology courses.
- Guide students in research projects and dissertations.
- Participate in academic and administrative activities of the university.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.
- Supervise and guide junior faculty members and research scholars.
- Engage in departmental, faculty, and institutional committees.
Master Level Teaching
Tulas Institute offers master level courses in Entomology, and the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching these courses. The candidate will also guide students in their research projects and dissertations.
Eligibility Criteria
- Ph.D. in Entomology or related field (55% marks).
- UGC-NET/SLET or equivalent qualification in Entomology or related field.
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals in the field of Entomology.
- Experience in teaching and research in a university or college.
