Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and lesson plans for Animal Husbandry programs. Conduct internal assessments, viva voce, and viva examinations for B.Sc. and M.Sc. students. Provide academic counseling and mentorship to students pursuing Animal Husbandry degrees.
Organize extension lectures, workshops, and farmer awareness programs in collaboration with local livestock departments. Participate in university committees related to curriculum design, examination, and student welfare. Contribute to the Animal Husbandry Academic Job in Dehradun by integrating modern teaching tools and ICT.
Master Level Teaching
Handle master level courses such as Advanced Animal Nutrition, Reproductive Biotechnology, and Livestock Economics for M.Sc. Animal Husbandry students. Supervise postgraduate dissertations, field projects, and research publications in peer-reviewed journals. Guide students in data analysis, thesis writing, and presentation skills for academic and industry readiness.
Required Qualifications
Ph.D. in Animal Husbandry, Dairy Science, or Veterinary Science with minimum 55% marks from an ICAR/UGC-recognized university. NET/SLET qualified candidates with postgraduate degree will also be considered as per UGC norms for Assistant Professor roles.
Minimum one year of teaching or research experience in Animal Husbandry at a recognized institution. Demonstrated publications in peer-reviewed journals related to livestock production, health, or biotechnology are preferred.
