What You Will Do

Guide students in preparing dissertations on regional international business challenges. Supervise summer internships with export houses in Dehradun and Haridwar.
Contribute to curriculum development by introducing modules on Himalayan Free Trade Zone concepts and agro-based export potential. Organise guest lectures by industry leaders from the Indo-Nepal border trade circuit.
Participate in national seminars hosted by Tulas Institute on sustainable trade practices in the Himalayas. Present findings on Uttarakhand’s export bottlenecks at regional conferences.
Collaborate with the Centre for Himalayan Studies to integrate geopolitical risk analysis into business strategy courses. Develop case studies on cross-border e-commerce in the Kumaon region.
Mentor student teams for national business case competitions focused on Himalayan trade. Engage with local chambers of commerce for real-world data and internship placements.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in International Business, Commerce, or Economics from a recognised university. Candidates with post-doctoral research experience in border economies or Himalayan trade will receive preference.
