ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR - Agricultural Engineering in Dehradun, Uttarakhand | University Recruitment
Role Summary

Collaborate with ICAR institutes for field trials on terrace farming techniques suitable for Uttarakhand.
Guide doctoral students in their thesis work on topics like drone-based crop monitoring and micro-irrigation systems. Supervise Ph.D. scholars registered at Tulas Institute under UGC regulations. Organize workshops on agricultural robotics and IoT applications for local farmers around Dehradun.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering from a recognized university with a minimum of four years of teaching or research experience. Candidates with post-doctoral research or industry experience in precision agriculture will be preferred. UGC-NET with JRF qualification is mandatory if Ph.D. is not completed.
Publications in journals with impact factor above 2.5 are desirable. Experience in handling sponsored projects funded by DBT, ICAR, or DST is an added advantage. Familiarity with Uttarakhand’s agricultural challenges and government schemes is beneficial for applied research.
