Role Summary
Tulas Institute invites applications for the post of ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR - Algorithms Vacancy in Dehradun to join its esteemed faculty team. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching and guiding undergraduate and postgraduate students in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
What You Will Do
- Teach Algorithms to undergraduate and postgraduate students in various courses
- Prepare and deliver lectures on advanced topics in Algorithms, including theory, algorithms, and applications
- Conduct tutorials and seminars on Algorithms-related research papers and projects
- Guide and supervise postgraduate students in their research projects and theses
- Develop and implement new curriculum and courses in Algorithms
- Participate in academic and administrative activities of the department
- Collaborate with other faculty members to design and develop new courses and programs
- Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of Algorithms and incorporate them into the curriculum
Postgraduate Students
- Teach and guide master level courses in Algorithms, such as Advanced Algorithms, Computational Complexity, and Algorithm Design
- Guide postgraduate students in their research projects and theses in the area of Algorithms
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of postgraduate students
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement new courses and programs for postgraduate students
Eligibility Criteria
- Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering or a related field with at least 55% marks
- NET/SLET qualification or a Ph.D. with 55% marks
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals in the area of Algorithms
- Teaching experience in a university or college with a good academic record
- Experience in guiding postgraduate students and supervising research projects
