What You Will Do
As an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR in Animal Husbandry, you will be responsible for:
- Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Animal Husbandry
- Advising students in academic and professional matters
- Participating in academic administration, such as curriculum development and program evaluation
- Conducting research and publishing in peer-reviewed journals
- Collaborating with other faculty members to develop interdisciplinary courses and programs
- Serving on university committees and task forces
- Mentoring junior faculty members and graduate students
- Participating in professional development activities, such as workshops and conferences
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess a PhD in Animal Husbandry or a related field from a recognized university. Industry experience is preferred, but not necessary. Candidates must also meet the UGC norms for Assistant Professors.
