Tulas Institute is inviting applications for the position of Associate Professor in Artificial Intelligence. What You Will Do
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Artificial Intelligence, including machine learning, deep learning, and robotics. Engage in high-quality research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and present findings at national and international conferences. Supervise PhD scholars and foster a research culture within the department. Collaborate with other faculty members on interdisciplinary projects that bridge AI with healthcare, finance, or smart infrastructure.
Participate in academic administration, including exam coordination, student mentoring, and departmental committee work. Represent Tulas Institute at industry-academia forums and government initiatives related to AI education and research. Support outreach programs that promote AI literacy in schools and communities.
Required Qualifications
A PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field from a recognized university is mandatory. Candidates must have at least four years of teaching or research experience in an AI-related domain. Prior industry experience in AI development or deployment will be given preference.
Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or Julia, along with experience in AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, is essential. Strong publication record in AI research journals or conferences is highly desirable. Familiarity with UGC norms and accreditation processes is an added advantage.
