ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR - Industrial Pharmacy in Dehradun, Uttarakhand | University Recruitment
Role Summary
Tulas Institute, a growing university in Dehradun, is expanding its School of Pharmacy with a focus on Industrial Pharmacy. The department has built a reputation for practical teaching and applied research in drug formulation, regulatory affairs, and pharmaceutical technology. We are looking for an experienced Industrial Pharmacy specialist to strengthen our academic and research profile.

What You Will Do
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Industrial Pharmacy, including dosage form design, GMP compliance, and pharmaceutical validation. Develop updated syllabi aligned with PCI and UGC guidelines. Conduct laboratory sessions on pilot-scale manufacturing and quality control.
Lead research projects in formulation development, stability studies, and process optimization. Publish findings in high-impact journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. Present research at national and international conferences, including regional events in Dehradun and Rishikesh.
Guide M.Pharm and Ph.D. students in their dissertation work. Mentor students during industrial training and internships at nearby pharma units. Organize guest lectures by industry experts and academic leaders.
Contribute to curriculum design and revision committees at the university level. Participate in academic audits and accreditation processes for pharmacy programs. Collaborate with other departments on interdisciplinary research.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Pharmacy with specialization in Industrial Pharmacy from a recognized university. A minimum of four years of teaching or research experience in Industrial Pharmacy is required. Post-doctoral research or industry experience will be given preference.
Candidates should have a strong publication record in Industrial Pharmacy-related areas. UGC-NET with JRF or CSIR-NET qualification is desirable. Experience in guiding postgraduate research is an added advantage.

Salary and Benefits
