Role Summary
Tulas Institute invites applications for the position of ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR Natural Language Processing Vacancy in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. This role requires a highly qualified academic with experience in Natural Language Processing to join the faculty team at the University.
What You Will Do
You will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Natural Language Processing, including Natural Language Processing Academic Job in Dehradun, Dehradun, and developing curriculum for these courses. You will also be expected to teach research methodology to students. In addition to teaching, you will be involved in research and publication activities, specifically in Natural Language Processing Faculty Recruitment in Uttarakhand.
You will teach and conduct research in Natural Language Processing, supervise postgraduate students for their master level courses and projects, and guide them in their research work. You will also be expected to participate in academic and administrative activities of the University, such as committee work, and contribute to the development of the department and the University.
Postgraduate Students
You will be responsible for guiding postgraduate students for their master level courses and projects, specifically in the area of Natural Language Processing. You will also be expected to supervise research work of students and guide them in their dissertation work. In addition, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the area of Natural Language Processing.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks. The candidate should also have a valid UGC-NET/SLET qualification. In addition, the candidate should have a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals, specifically in the area of Natural Language Processing.
Learning and Development
The University follows the UGC norms for career advancement and promotion of faculty members. The candidate should be willing to work towards achieving the required API (Academic Performance Indicators) score for promotion and career advancement. The candidate should also be willing to participate in faculty development programs and workshops to enhance their skills and knowledge.
