What You Will Do

Guide postgraduate and PhD scholars in their thesis work, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory guidelines. Conduct periodic reviews of lab protocols to maintain compliance with NMC and ICMR norms.
Participate in academic administration, including board of studies meetings, syllabus revisions, and accreditation processes for NAAC and NBA. Collaborate with the industry relations team to organize guest lectures by leading pharmacologists from Ranbaxy, Cipla, and Himalaya Drug Company.
Develop and submit research proposals to funding agencies like DBT, DST, and ICMR for grants in drug development and Ayurvedic pharmacology. Supervise students in publishing findings in peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science.
Engage in outreach programs to sensitize local communities in Uttarakhand about rational drug use and antibiotic stewardship. Mentor junior faculty and coordinate faculty development programs in emerging areas like pharmacogenomics and nanomedicine.
Required Qualifications
PhD in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline from a recognized Indian university with a minimum of 4 years of teaching/research experience. NET/SLET qualified candidates with PhD eligibility will also be considered if the PhD is in progress and expected to be completed within two years.
Industry experience in drug development, clinical research, or regulatory affairs is highly desirable, especially in companies operating in the pharmaceutical hubs of Baddi or Haridwar. Proficiency in statistical analysis tools like SPSS, Prism, or R is expected for data interpretation in research projects.
