About This Role
This Power Electronics ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR Job in Dehradun will lead curriculum development in power electronics, power systems, and embedded control systems. At Tulas Institute, the role involves mentoring final-year B.Tech and M.Tech students in specialized power electronics labs. The position requires guiding sponsored research projects funded by Uttarakhand State Council for Science & Technology.

Day-to-Day Duties

Manage laboratory sessions using state-of-the-art equipment including oscilloscopes, programmable DC loads, and SiC/GaN-based evaluation boards. Prepare lab manuals and digital content for flipped classroom delivery.
Participate in academic administration including board of studies meetings, accreditation documentation, and student mentoring under the university’s faculty mentorship program. Represent Tulas Institute in regional conferences and technical forums across North India.
Who Can Apply
Qualification: PhD in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field from a recognized Indian or foreign university. NET/SLET qualified candidates with exceptional teaching experience may be considered if PhD is in progress.
Experience Required: Minimum 4 years of full-time teaching or research in power electronics at a UGC-recognized institution or industry R&D lab. Industry experience in power electronics design, embedded systems, or renewable energy integration is highly preferred.
Publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings in power electronics are desirable. Experience with funded projects, patent filings, or consultancy assignments will be advantageous.
